  1. Pasta Salad

Pasta salad is a dish that you can really get creative with. It will require the stove, but only for the five minutes it’ll take you to boil the noodles. While the noodles are doing their thing go ahead and prep everything else. Cut and chop whatever veggies you want and decide what dressing you’ll use. Pasta salad is great because there’s so much freedom. Do you want it spicy or cheesy? Savory or sweet? Once the noodles are ready, rinse them off and in a bowl combine all your ingredients.

  1. Cold Soup or Gazpacho

Cold soup can be served alongside a salad and bread or as the main course. They can take as little as 20 minutes to prepare and will definitely cool you down after some time spent in the sun. Gazpachos are really just uncooked soup made with pureed vegetables such as tomatoes or cucumbers. To do these, just blend your fresh ingredients, drain, and discard any leftover solids.
